Dr. Stephen Melis, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Steve has been a bodyworker and health educator for 25 years, and he added chiropractic to his toolbox so he could offer more complete physical care. Recognizing the crucial importance of BOTH muscular health and skeletal alignment , PLUS the knowledge and experience to expertly apply them in combination is his specialty. He is considered by some an expert on shoulder and TMJ issues and has had great success treating those and many other complex issues. He works exceptionally well with athletes, rehabilitating injuries and enhancing performance. Many of Boulder’s triathlon amateur and professionals rely on Dr. Steve’s care. Families, businesspeople, doctors, coaches, and world-class climbers/adventurers also call Dr. Steve their “go-to guy” for their healthcare.

Dr. Steve is uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat issues with the joints and the muscles/soft tissues that are contributing to the distress of the system. As a longtime educator, one of his specialties is explaining logically, honestly, and in detail his exam findings, treatment plan, and your role in your own health. He is generous with his knowledge, and his goal is to help restore you to excellent health as efficiently as possible.
Stacey Melis, LMT
Stacey has been helping people move and feel better in their bodies for 28 years. Her education and experience as a personal trainer, massage therapist, yoga practitioner, and Pilates instructor have filled her “toolbox-of-knowledge” with ways to ease pain, change habits, and create more optimal movement patterns. A call to the office will most likely be cheerily answered by Stacey, so give her a buzz to get on the road to feeling your best!

Dan Orth, RMT
Daniel graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy with honors and has a true passion for helping people improve their lives. Dan has worked with a variety of people/conditions including athletes, clients with chronic pain, and those with acute injuries. He has found great success in relieving pain and tension with his intuitive hands-on skills in conjunction with self-care education. Dan is currently training with Dr. Steve to learn more about advanced clinical applications of massage therapy. His work is a nice blend of the detailed deep tissue and the therapeutic “feel-good” styles.
